You will be contacted via your preferred contact method prior to your scheduled appointment. Please confirm your appointment as instructed to ensure your slot is
secured.
Please be respectful of the needs of other patients, and call our office promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. We require 48 hours notice as appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will give another patient the possibility to access timely dental care.
A cancellation with less than 48 hours notice will result in a $60 short-notice cancellation fee
Missing an appointment without canceling in advance disrupts the functioning of our practice and limits our ability to provide timely service to other patients. A $60 fee will be charged for each missed appointment.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending on how late you arrive, your dentist or hygienist may not be able to complete the treatment or may decide to reschedule your appointment.
Our practice schedules appointments carefully. Time, resources, and staff are allocated to each appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. We understand emergencies and unforeseen situations can occur, and we will accommodate these situations to the best of our ability. However, frequent cancellations or missed appointments will require us to revisit your care plan at our practice.
The fee charged for a late cancellation or no-show is not a penalty but rather compensation for the lost revenue your absence causes. Payment of short notice cancellation and missed appointment fees must be collected prior to the next appointment.
Tartan Dental is a non-assignment office that does not accept payment directly from insurance companies. Therefore, you are expected to pay the full cost of treatment at the scheduled appointment time. As a courtesy, the staff of Tartan Dental will electronically submit the claims form on your behalf.
